What makes a useful backpacker CV?
Make availability easy to find
A start date, current location and realistic length of stay help an employer work out whether you fit their roster. Include tickets relevant to the job.
Show what you have done
“Took orders and handled payments during busy weekend service” tells an employer more than “hard-working team player”. Use examples from your own work, volunteering or study.
Keep it focused
One or two readable pages will usually be enough for casual work. You can hide sections and reorder entries for each application. Leave out a photo, date of birth, passport number and TFN.
